Perfect Size for a Balance of Activities

Green Hill Pond is big enough to support a variety of activities such as boating and kayaking but is never crowded. It is 431 acres in size with a watershed over 3,000 acres. This makes Green Hill Pond the fifth largest of the 9 Rhode Island coastal lagoons, just behind Winnapaug (446 acres) and ahead of Potter (329 acres). Roughly 95% of the Pond and 80% of its watershed is in South Kingstown.
