Shallow Depth

Green Hill Pond is shallow, having an average depth of about 1 meter but with heavy shoaling on the approach to the bridge and elsewhere on the southern side. Shallow water keeps boat traffic mainly confined to the deeper center area while kayakers are free to explore the rest of the pond.
